Heikki Salmela

Heikki Salmela and his wife Kirsti started their first grill kiosk in 1966. Over the years their business expanded tremendously and today Hesburger is the largest fast food chain in Finland and the Baltics. The chain operates in nine countries and employs nearly 8,000 restaurant workers, serving almost 200,000 customers every day. Hesburger is known for its innovative use of technology and environmental efforts. Heikki Salmela is the chairman of the board.
