Future You is our two-year graduate program aimed at giving adaptable, results-focused, creative thinkers like you a chance to accelerate your development and grow into becoming a Huhtamaki leader of the future.

What is 'Future You'?
- Future You offers opportunities for accelerated development, supporting you and giving you everything you need to become a future leader in Huhtamaki.
- Participants will have 3–6 month rotations over 2 years in different business areas across Huhtamaki, gaining diverse experiences and insights.
- It's a real job with critical roles and activities, not just shadowing or project work, ensuring you contribute meaningfully to the company.
- It’s a structured learning journey that will see you join with your other Future You program participants for global training and skill-building opportunities.

What will you be doing?
Future You is your chance to shine. The program offers plenty of opportunities to learn and develop in a truly global and diverse organization with employees who make an impact every day.
The 2 year program will be split across 4-5 rotations of 3-6 month durations. At least one of your rotations will see you living and working abroad at one of our Huhtamaki sites in Europe.
At the end of the program, you could be a Finance/Business Controller, a Key Account Manager, or one of our vital Sustainability Specialists.

Finance

Location: Espoo, Finland
You will rotate into the following departments:
Segment Finance & Controlling: Learn cost and commercial controlling, financial planning, and analysis to understand strategic business decisions.
Finance Team (European site): See how finance integrates into daily operations and helps optimize profitability.
Group Finance: Compile financial reports, identify and mitigate risks, and support group-wide financial strategies.
Flexible Packaging Commercial Excellence or Fiber Foodservice Strategy: Learn about sales strategy and customer support, or understand segment support for achieving the 3-year plan.
Final Rotation: Swap with a 'Future You' Finance colleague to experience their Segment Finance & Controlling function and identify best practices.
Sustainability

Location: Espoo, Finland
You will rotate into the following departments:
Segment Sustainability: Develop a strategic view of sustainability in the Flexible Packaging segment and contribute to sustainable solutions.
Product Sustainability (European site): Understand how sustainability is integrated into innovation and product portfolio management.
Group Sustainability: Design and plan a key global sustainability initiative with teams worldwide.
Global Project Implementation: Implement a global project you helped design, creating a positive business impact.
Sales

Location: Belfast, NI
You will rotate into the following departments:
Customer Service: Interact with customers, process orders, and support product enquiries.
New Product Development: Experience creating new, innovative products for customers.
Operations in another UK site: Learn high-quality product production and material flow management.
UK & Ireland Sales: Implement sales strategies, work on key accounts, and analyze market trends.
Global Commercial Excellence: Develop profitable pricing models and work on global projects to improve commercial processes.
What will you need to succeed?
We are looking for people who are versatile and can adapt to any situation (and be able to deal with last-minute changes or issues!)
Ideal candidates will have strong business acumen, be results-focused, and be creative and motivated thinkers.

- Up to 2 years' work experience (prior to or after graduation)
- International experience gained via studying or working abroad or through working in international environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders throughout Huhtamaki
- Excellent written and spoken English; fluency in other languages is an advantage
- Willingness & flexibility to travel and work abroad for up to 6 months across Europe
