Huhtamaki Fiber Packaging United Kingdom

Huhtamaki (Lurgan) Ltd operates from a single site in Dollingstown, Armagh, Northern Ireland. The factory is the biggest processor of re-cycled paper in Northern Ireland, which is used as a raw material to manufacture egg cartons and trays for the free range egg market, and cup carriers for the fast food sector.

The site employs 230 people in a wide range of roles including sales, engineering, manufacturing, finance, HR and general administration.

Every year, the Lurgan operation welcomes applicants for both our graduate and apprentice programmes which run annually.  The site is accredited to BRC Grade A, ISO9001/14001/50001, OHAS 18001 and SEDEX.  

In 2019, we will open our new Fresh factory which will manufacture the world’s first fully compostable and re-cyclable tray for the ready meal market.
